About Key2Learn
Key2Learn Academic Enrichment Center is a small private educational center in Puerto Rico that provides personalized learning, academic enrichment, homeschooling support, bilingual education, and small-group instruction for Pre-Kindergarten through Elementary students. Our mission is to foster a love of learning in every child and to equip them with the skills they need to thrive academically and socially.

Driven by a passion for education and child development, our founders established Key2Learn with the vision of creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Itza Calderas
Co-Founder, Director & Curriculum Specialist
Teacher Itza is the co-founder and director of Key2Learn Academic Enrichment Center, a learning community she proudly built alongside her twin sister, Teacher Mily. With over 18 years of experience in education, she is passionate about creating innovative and meaningful learning experiences that inspire students to reach their full potential.
Holding a Master’s Degree in Education, Teacher Itza serves as an Educational Leader, Curriculum Specialist, and Advisor, dedicated to fostering academic excellence while nurturing each child’s unique strengths and abilities. Her vision for Key2Learn is centered on providing a personalized, engaging, and supportive environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
Beyond her professional role, Teacher Itza is a devoted mother who understands the importance of balancing learning with joy, creativity, and family values. She enjoys developing educational resources and designing enriching experiences that make learning both exciting and memorable for every student.
Through her leadership and dedication, Teacher Itza continues to empower students and families, helping shape confident learners and future leaders.
Mily Calderas
Co-Founder & Director of Educational Programs
Teacher Mily is the co-founder and director of Key2Learn Academic Enrichment Center, established alongside her twin sister, Teacher Itza. With over 20 years of experience in education, she has dedicated her career to serving children and families in the Dorado community through guidance, support, and meaningful educational experiences.
Throughout the years, Teacher Mily has worked closely with parents and students, helping families navigate their educational journey while fostering environments where children can thrive academically and personally. Her academic background includes studies in Communications from the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo, Education from the University of Puerto Rico at Bayamón, and certification as a School Director.
Currently, she leads the Key2Homeschool and Afterschool programs at Key2Learn, where she continues to promote individualized learning and student success..
Beyond her professional role, Teacher Mily is a devoted mother of four who values family time and creating lasting memories. Through her passion, leadership, and dedication, Teacher Mily remains committed to empowering students and supporting families every step of the way.
